I love a good cat shirt, and this one grabbed my attention for its cool color combo and low price (only $15!). The breezy crepe fabric makes it easy to wear right now while it’s warm outside, and also dresses it up a bit (not your basic cotton top). There’s even a little chest pocket that would be perfect for storing extra kitty treats.
Attention cat ladies: I am seriously coveting this shirt right now. Like, I reallllly really want it. It’s the perfect breezy summer shirt that could be dressed up with skinny black pants and heels for dinner out on the town, or dressed down with jeans for a casual daytime look. It even has an adorable embroidered hem to finish it off. I’m already picturing all of the possibilities. It’s a tad expensive, but what do you think, can I splurge on this one?
We think this le chat shirt is trés beau, don’t you?! We’re brushing up on our French here to tell you this cat shirt is very beautiful! Anthropologie is always a favorite for quirky and worldly finds, and this aptly named “le weekend” tee is no exception. Since it’s from Anthro we know it’s super soft and of high quality, and the beautiful cat saying “maiou” makes it cat lady worthy. Now we just need to complete the full French experience with a trip to Paris, oui?
Last time I was online shopping at Urban Outfitters I was this close to buying this shirt. But thoughts of savings and responsibility danced through my head and I held strong. The shirt looks super soft, and has a great classic relaxed fit.
The reason I call it a “Pocket Spirit Animal” comes from a homemade present I gave my dad last Christmas (see right). Grumpy Cat was gaining in popularity, but wasn’t really to the point where you could buy a lot of items with the grumpster herself on them yet. My dad loved Grumpy’s sass and hilarious meme, so I took it upon myself to make my own graphic in Photoshop and print it on iron transfer paper to customize one of his old shirts as a joke (note even the pocket is faux and was created in Photoshop). The joke went over well, but alas, the quality of the transfer was not up to par and washed out after a couple of wears.
This shirt from Urban Outfitters looks a bit more professional, and I’m sure it wouldn’t wash off after a couple of wears like my version did. But I’d like to think I was ahead of the trends, considering I made this similar version a year ago. And handmade gifts are always awesome.
Back in the summer I had mentioned my love for Pretty Snake designs and their kitty print swimwear. Now that it’s winter, what better time to mention their one-of-a-kind crazy kitty sweaters! I fell in love with this sweater design years ago and still haven’t pulled the trigger to buy one, what’s wrong with me!? I love that the designer (Joseph) finds one-of-a-kind sweaters to print on, so every one is different. I’m loving the lace one on the top right, and gold and red are perfect for the holidays. Speaking of holidays, the icing on the cake (or should I say, the adorable accessory on the cat) are these tiny felt Santa hat pins they design to specifically match up with the kitties on the sweaters. Just pin them on, and your kitty sweater instantly becomes a holiday kitty sweater. Multi-purpose and adorable, what’s not to love?!
This is necessary to own because I may as well have gone to a cat university with all of the knowledge I’ve gained over my years of feline ownership and blogging. Love the slouchy cut of this sweatshirt, and reviews say it’s super soft and comfy too. Perfect holiday present for the cat lover in your life (hint hint).
This shirt is in the Halloween section of Urban Outfitters, but who wouldn’t want to wear this tank all of the time? I’ve always known that I’m part-cat, but now this top can make it a reality. Cut long and loose, it’s begging for a casual weekend outfit of torn black jeans and an over-sized cardigan thrown over the top.
There’s nothing I love more than a cheeky cat shirt, and I immediately fell in love with the shirt on the left when I saw it on Pinterest. But when I clicked on the shirt, it didn’t link to a website to purchase, so I went on the hunt. In my search I found it (yay!), but also found this hilarious tank on the right (on the always trusty Etsy of course). I’ve been looking for more workout shirts, and this would be perfect, don’t you think?!
I know this week has been full of Cinco de
Mayo Meow posts, but I promise this is the last one – this shirt was just too amazing to keep to myself. I saw it on Etsy a couple of weeks ago I knew I had to have it for my CInco celebrations. And somehow, I convinced the hubby to get one too and join in on the fun. The shirts are made by Better Than Real Life Tees and are American Apparel brand (soft and quality) and available in several color options and styles. And considering it doesn’t actually say Mayo (or May) on in, I think I might just wear it on the 5th of every month. Because there’s always a reason to celebrate cats.
Forever 21 has been stepping up their cat game lately, and the other day I stumbled upon an abundance of adorable cat-adorned sleepwear on their site. To sweeten the deal, most of the sets (shirt and short/pants) are only around $13 – such a steal! To complete the look, add a kitty-inspired sleep mask (cute one here), and take your cat naps in style.
