Feline Friends Friday: Oliver the Bengal Kitten

Meet our friend Oliver! He is an adorable rescue cat just adopted by Max and Leigh. Leigh tells the story of Oliver’s adoption and his new furry brother below.

Oliver

After much deliberation and agreement, Max and Leigh (Oliver’s parents) decided it was time to get another fur baby. They already have a chigi (Chihuahua-Corgi mix) named Rocco, but he needed a friend. So Max drove to the Marin Humane Society and instantly connected with Oliver, then named Davis, a 3.5 month old Bengal kitten. While Leigh was at work, Max would constantly send pictures and videos and they both decided he was the right kitten to bring home. Luckily for Leigh, she’s not allergic to Oliver mainly because he’s a Bengal kitten with short hair, therefore less likely to shed and less dandruff.

Rocco and Oliver

Oliver and Rocco were scared of each other for about an hour, but are now inseparable. Multiple times a day they cuddle together and touch noses to say hello. Oliver is the perfect addition to Leigh and Max’s home.
